hello, my names Luke. I’m 16 years of age, I was born in Leeds, England but moved to Australia about two years ago. The reason I moved was because my family couldn’t afford to live there anymore, my dad lost his job and my mother didn’t make very much money. So eventually we saved any money we had to move to Australia.
Another reason I moved, was because I was severely bullied at school, on the Internet and sometimes at home. I never really understood why everyone hated me.. I use to walk to school and get harassed, sometimes it was physical other times not. Everyday I would have to think of another excuse to why I was covered in bruises, It hurt to lie .
At lunch times I would sit by myself, I felt invisible to the world. No one would ever sit near me, or speak to me at all. I did have a few friends but they weren’t in any of my classes and hung out with people that disliked me highly. Rumours would start about me being homeless, I have no idea how. I dressed well and had everything I needed. One boy hated me because he found out I was bisexual, he told the whole school. A girl hated me because my 11 year old sister has down syndrome, but to be honest I could not ask for a better life then I have today. It was at one point where I had no one to turn to at all, My parents didn’t know this was happening at the time. I started to harm myself. Everyday of my life was what seems to be hell. But I pulled threw it, & today I could never feel better.
I know this sounds kind of attention seeking. But I would never write something for that reason. I’m just writing it to get things of my chest, and to tell everyone that I understand your pain. I know what it feels like to be hated, and I promise if you ever need advice, help or just someone to talk to I will always be here. I may not fix your problem, but I will try.
